We work with all Astor’s strength to become an exemplary organization with Astor’s leadership in terms of quality in the energy sector by managing Astor’s activities in an integrated manner together with Environment, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Astor’s suppliers must establish, document, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the quality management system for performance enhancement, reducing nonconformity.
Suppliers are authorized to comply with ASTOR family to meet the expectations, measurable, consistent with the quality policy can be realized in a certain period of time, should have quality objectives.
Suppliers should also have a management review process that ensures continuous improvement. These reviews should cover operational outputs to monitor the overall process performance.
The Supplier shall plan, implement, control and carry out all necessary improvement activities in a manner to minimize the variability in these activities and the overall system.
The review of the following documents allows the supplier to obtain information on whether the above requirements are met:
• Internal and external audit results
• Targets, performance results and review records of critical monitoring indicators of processes impacting product quality
• Customer feedback records (customer return rate, customer complaints, etc.)
• Owned product standards documents
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO / IEC 17025, etc. management standards certificates
• The cost of quality is reported and managed by a systematic structure (the system should be able to issue periodic reports, guide goals, create impact on management decisions, and be the source of improvement projects.)
• Have the authority and responsibility to ensure the implementation and continuity of the quality system
With these efforts, it is aimed to achieve product quality in production, to reduce costs and thus to increase competitiveness in global markets where competition is becoming increasingly tough, while sustaining the sustainability of the quality culture within the company by developing quality systems.

Our company has five management systems. These are:
ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 27001: 2013 Information Security Management System and TS EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2012 Accreditation Certificate.
As Quality Department, we manage and maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System documentation with our own software program.
The traceability of our products is ensured and recorded in accordance with national / international standards and customer needs and expectations.

Astor’s company realizes the production of power, oil and dry distribution transformers, modular cubicles and concrete kiosks, which are necessary for the production and transmission of electricity in the energy sector, by following the developing technology closely, continuously improving its efficiency by complying with the requirements of the Management Systems standards, sensitive to the environment, understanding that gives importance to occupational health and safety to meet customer expectations and needs in accordance with legal requirements.

Astor’s ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY;
As ASTOR, we develop and implement projects aimed at raising awareness of all employees for the protection of natural resources and sustainable development in order to leave a more livable world for future generations.
The basic principles of ASTOR A.Ş. are as follows;
– To prevent wastes that may occur during production and ensure maximum recovery of wastes,
– Conducting activities to prevent air, water and soil pollution,
– Conducting studies that will ensure continuous improvement and development in our environmental activities,
– Conducting studies to reduce energy consumption,
– To contribute to environmental studies of civil society organizations.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
UNDERSTANDING OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY;
As ASTOR family, understanding of occupational health and safety is based on respect for human beings and the environment in which they live. Occupational Health and Safety is first priority in every field we operate.
In this direction;
– To take all precautions in accordance with the OHS legislation and other relevant requirements in order to ensure the health and safety of the employees, subcontractors, visitors and external company personnel,
Eliminating the risks that may arise from activities and minimizing health and safety risks,
-Education activities are organized to ensure that employees and related parties can effectively implement Occupational Health and Safety practices.
Material Entry Quality Control
In the Material Introduction Quality Control Department, the product groups are controlled according to the specified methods by using the latest technology, calibrated devices and suitable products are released for production.
For the products to be purchased for the first time, Sample Study Method is applied with the participation of related units in order to determine the suitability of the product and to approve the order.
Materials Introduction In Quality Control Laboratory; Conductivity measuring device, hardness measuring device, iron loss measuring device, spring tension pressing device, surface roughness measuring device, paint thickness measuring device, magnetic tester, laser meter, shortmeter, touch screen, moisture meter, calipers, micrometers and tape meters.
In addition to the works carried out within Astor organization, suppliers are visited on-site and the conformity of the products produced is inspected.
Process Quality Control
Every step in production is controlled and recorded in accordance with national / international standards and customer needs and expectations with expert staff.
The nonconformities identified are handled within the scope of Nonconformity Management and corrective actions are implemented within Astor company.
Data analysis is conducted regularly and Root / Cause Analysis studies are conducted to eliminate non-conformity by using certain methods (Failure Types and Effects Analysis-FMEA, Ishikawa Diagram etc.).
Traceability is ensured in the process from raw material stage to final product formation. According to customer demands, a copy of traceability records is shared with the customer before product acceptance.
